Price Dimensions is a Chicago-based consulting firm specializing in retail pricing strategy for supermarket companies. The firm helps grocery retailers improve pricing decisions, strengthen their price-value image, and create strategies that support profitable sales growth. Its methods and analytics have been applied across more than 50 supermarket chains throughout North America.
The company was founded by Jon Hauptman, a retail pricing expert with more than 30 years of grocery industry experience. His background includes developing pricing strategies for supermarket operators of different sizes, from small independent retailers to organizations with hundreds of stores.
Challenge
Price Dimensions needed a professional website that could take a highly analytical subject and make it clear and approachable for supermarket executives and decision-makers. The company’s proprietary pricing methodology includes multiple areas—from everyday pricing and promotions to merchandising and price communication—so the content required careful organization.
The goal was to create a focused digital presence that explained the firm’s expertise, introduced its unique Six Dimensions of Price-Value Image, and clearly presented its three-phase consulting process. The website also needed to reinforce Jon’s extensive industry experience and provide an easy path for prospective clients to request an introductory consultation.
Flamingo Agency designed and developed a custom WordPress website for Price Dimensions, creating a professional platform that makes complex retail pricing concepts easier to understand. The visual direction keeps the experience clean and business-focused while giving the firm’s proprietary methodology a central role throughout the website.
We organized detailed content around the Six Dimensions of Price-Value Image, including everyday base prices, promotional offerings, known-value item pricing, value offerings, merchandising, and price communication. Each area is presented separately, allowing supermarket professionals to quickly understand how the different components work together within a comprehensive pricing strategy.
The website also clearly presents Price Dimensions’ three-phase process: Discovery/Diagnostic, Strategy Development, and Implementation & Evaluation. This structured presentation helps prospective clients understand how an engagement progresses from initial analysis to strategy execution and ongoing performance evaluation.
We incorporated detailed founder information and an extensive testimonials section to reinforce credibility. Recommendations from experienced grocery and retail industry executives help demonstrate Jon’s expertise, collaborative approach, and history of delivering measurable pricing improvements.

I’m the founder and president of a firm that helps supermarket chains develop and maintain pricing strategies.
I launched my new company in September 2022. In my business plan, I determined that I would need a professional website in place by the end of 2022, but I lacked the skills to develop one. Consequently, I hired Flamingo Agency to create an attractive, professional website that would introduce my new company to the supermarket industry and effectively highlight my unique business-building service offering for grocery retailers, and the Flamingo Agency exceeded my expectations!
I conducted an online search for local website developers in the Chicagoland area that focused on helping new start-ups and/or niche consulting businesses and the Flamingo Agency was one of the firms that caught my attention. I was particularly impressed with the online examples of high quality, creative and professional client websites that the Flamingo Agency had developed.
I contacted Chris at the Flamingo Agency he asked several thoughtful questions to be sure he fully understood my needs. He then sent me a proposal and I was particularly impressed with the Flamingo Agency’s comprehensive and interactive process for working with me to ensure that they were supporting my objectives every step of the way. This professional process, combined with examples of their previous work, and rapid development timeline made them the ideal choice for my needs.
They walked me through the entire process step-by-step so that it was not overwhelming for me. Flamingo Agency built my website using WordPress with Elementor. They also created a mobile responsive design and SEO. They began by providing four separate homepage designs, each with multiple options for each key section within the homepage. This allowed me to pick and choose my favorite overall design as well as favorite designs for “sections” and additional pages.
I provided content for the website in piecemeal fashion over the course of a couple of weeks which they incorporated immediately upon receiving it. We ended up with four pages and multiple “sections” within each page. They also allowed me to pick my preferred color palette and provided me with a wide array of options for stock pictures which were outstanding additions to the site. Flamingo Agency provided unlimited revisions as we worked together to get the site just the way I wanted it. They were extremely patient with me and unfailingly accommodating.
I worked directly with Chris Granat, the founder of the firm. He served as the web designer and SEO expert.
The site has just launched so I do not have any statistics to share. However, the site has exceeded my expectations and is presenting my new firm in the best, most positive light.
Chris communicated with me continually throughout the process on a daily basis. The only delays were caused by me. As soon as I provided material or made decisions, Chris incorporated them right away. I couldn’t be happier with the communication and timing of the service that I received.
Flamingo Agency provided me with a professional website that is allowing me to “play bigger than I am”. I’ve been in consulting for over 30 years, and the service I received was A+. I can only hope to provide similar service to my clients. I always felt that I was their most important client and they exceeded my expectations with their service, support and deliverables.
