If you’re browsing from a computer and not a mobile device, one of the quickest ways to determine if a website is using WordPress is by inspecting the website’s source code. To do this, look for ‘wp content’ within the head section of the source code. The source code represents the programming language of a website, and there are two methods for reading it and searching for WordPress traces. First, go to the site you want to check, right-click and click on View Page Source.
This should open a new tab or window featuring the code of the website. Once in there, right-click again or hit CTRL + F and view source for any instances of “wordpress” or ” wp content “. If it’s there, the website was definitely built by WordPress developers.
